Can't build project!!

I re-installed VS2008 on my new pc today.

Everything seemed fine until I tried building the project. Prior to the re-install when I was initially writing the program, I was using the same OS (Vista Home Premium) and everything else (no software or hardware changes).

Have I blocked something in the firewall thats preventing the build?

The error message I get is: "Unable to write to output file 'D:\Documents\Visual Studio 2008\...\obj\Debug\...exe": Could not execute CVTRES.EXE."


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm...

Running "devenv -resetsettings" in the command prompt resolved the issue.
