Can not install vs 2003

Hi there

I recently got a nasty worm on my laptop so I need to uninstall a number of programs.

The easy way would have been to use the recovery disc but I left it in new zealand on my last visit. So thats not a option

I have been trying to reinstall visual studio 2003 for the last couple of days using different methods but cant seem to get it working.

When I try run the prerequisites it goes through the process of installing .net 1.1 framework & j# .net it fails to install them both.

Is there another method I can use to install these?

not sure but try setting your regional settings date format to dd.MM.yyyy (for short and long) and time format to HH:mm:ss
this helped me when I could not install it. i think it is .net .1.1 problem (not sure)
