Don't you think that is a little too far? Programming took decades, just look at C?

Yes it's possible to make a programming language and yes it's possible to make a compiler to run vb and other language code(s)

Well I was also trying to make an operating system in linux using the linux kernel and gcc compiler. there was this book linux from scratch (even the site is named same) where they give u instructions to create a simple operating system.
Well when I look at the amount of linux distros Fedora ubuntu dsl etc I think it shouldnt be that tough to build a linux kernel based operating system.
As for creating a programming language I think assembly language is highly essential.
