calendar control

Hi i have a gridview with a textbox in a edittemplate.

i also have a calendar in the same edittemplate

textbox1 and mycalendar

but i am not sure how to get the value of the selected date into the textbox?

i have found a few examples on the net but still cant get it working, can someone please help
