Borders around toolstrips on MDI form

I have a MDI container form with menustrip, toolstrip and statusstrip on it. The backcolor of these items is black.
The toolstrip and statusstrip show ugly white borders around them which I want to get rid of but there seems to be no such property like bordercolor or anything where I could change them. Any ideas?

You will probably have to look into using a ToolStripRenderer.
