Automatically restart application

Hi, is it possible to get an application to restart itself?

I have a piece of code that informs the user that a essential piece of code failed to run, but by simply restarting the application the problem will be resolved.

However.....if I issue a quit command how do I get the application to start itself again?

Any tips please?
