I have a requirements to automate an IDnumber. Am using VB.NET and Ms Access2013. THe table name is tblTransaction and the column name that would be automate is IDNum . The format would be Year and Month then the 5 digits number (sample 1503-00001). Your help is very much appreciated. Thank you. jov
