This is my first post, and I could really use some help.
I have been searching Google all day long and trying everything. I want to make a pivot table in VB.Net 2005, but I can't even open and close or access and Excel workbook at all. I am familiar with programming but new with VB.Net.
I have tried many tutorials and code samples, but there is always something that won't work. The last one spit up on some Marshal part of a name space or something. I need someone to help me step by step through a simple Excel automation. Once I get a simple one, I am sure I can add to it. I actually want to create it, save it, and close it.
I think part of my problem is that many of the examples assume Excel 2003, but I have Excel 2000 and I can't change that right now. Neither do I have VB6 which some might tell me to use.
