2.5d fps shooter in vb using visual studio 2012

i wanted to know would it be possible to make a 2.5d fps game in visual basic using only wasd for movement and arrow keys for camera control like doom

forgot to mention it will also use right control to shoot right shift to change weapon

Your question is something like "Is it possible to design the London Bridge with a pen and lots of paper?". Of course it is, but there are 1000 other different factors that will cause you problems before having a pen and paper problem.
