flash showave .swf com

Thanks in advance for reading my post. I am attempting to embed a flash movie into my VB 2008 program. Could anyone point me in the right direction? I do not want to just open a .swf on local machine either. I have loaded the Shockwave Flash object in the COM objects but cannot figure out...
